Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to ZettaSend. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (quic-share.zemendaniel.hu) and use the ZettaSend application.

2. The ZettaSend App (Peer-to-Peer Data)

ZettaSend is designed with privacy at its core. It operates on a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) architecture.

  • File Transfers: We do not host, store, inspect, or have access to any files you transfer using the ZettaSend application. Files are transmitted directly between peers using end-to-end encryption (QUIC + mTLS).
  • Signaling Server: To facilitate the P2P connection, our signaling server temporarily processes connection metadata (such as IP addresses, UDP ports, and room codes). This data is held in memory solely for the duration necessary to establish the connection and is not permanently logged or stored.

3. Data We Collect on the Website

When you register for an account or purchase a ZettaSend license, we collect:

  • Account Information: Your email address and a securely hashed password.
  • Payment Information: We use Stripe as our payment processor. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. We only store a reference ID (Stripe Customer ID) and your subscription status.
  • Technical Data: Standard server logs, including IP addresses, browser types, and access times, to ensure the security and operation of our website.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure your ZettaSend account.
  • Process transactions and manage your Pro or Enterprise licenses.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Send essential account-related emails (e.g., password resets, billing updates).

5. Cookies

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your logged-in session and secure our platform. We do not currently use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Request the deletion of your account and associated personal data ("Right to be Forgotten").

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.
